On 9 November 1985 in Legnica, Poland, acting with the direct intention of depriving his wife of life, stabbed her several times in the chest with a knife, inflicting penetrating wounds to pleural cavities, lungs and liver, causing massive haemorrhage into the abdominal cavity, resulting in her death.
