In January 2003, TEOH Yeon Choy (Nickname: Suzuki , Tai Lau) and one accomplice travelled from Belgium to Luxembourg and went to a Chinese restaurant in the west of Luxembourg.
In this restaurant, both individuals threatened the owner and put pressure on him. A fight broke out and a shot with a handgun was fired.
TEOH Yeon was hit by a shot. Seriously injured he was found outside of the restaurant and survived then due the optimal medical care. The police arrested TEOH.
His accomplice could also be arrested on the crime scene.
After some months in custody in Luxembourg TEOH was released on 08th of August 2003 before the court case had begun.
Some years later TEOH Yeon Choy was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for several extortion charges. In the past, two other criminals were condemned to high prison sentences also in the same criminal case.
The European Arrest Warrant was issued in 2008 by the Office of the General Prosecutor / Department of the execution of sentences, in Luxembourg.
The fugitive is considered as dangerous and could be armed. He speaks several languages like english, french, cantonese and also mandarin.
It cannot be excluded that he actually hides under a false identity in Europe. In the past, he lived in Belgium.
His whereabouts are currently unknown.
In case of an arrest, Yeon TEOH has to serve imprisonment 11 years and 167 days.
