Artur NAWROCKI was sentenced on 26 November 2014 by the court of first instance of Brussels to 15 years of imprisonment for leading a criminal organisation and international drug trafficking.
On 22 August 2013 the Federal judicial police of Asse raided 30 places in and outside the national Belgian territory. The house searches led to the discovery of professional laboratories in Vilvoorde and Chimay. Approximately 1.4 tons of the synthetic drug MDMA was seized.
Thirteen suspects of Belgian, Romanian, Polish and Turkish origin were put under arrest. They were sentenced for being part of a criminal organisation and drug trafficking.
One of the convicted men, Artur NAWROCKI, is still on the run.
