Marco Ebben was sentenced on October 2 2020 for a prison sentence of 7 years and 4 months. 

He was involved in a drug smuggling from Brazil to the Netherlands. In the period 2014 – 2015 Marco Ebben, together with co-suspects, smuggled a total of 400 kilograms of cocaine into the Netherlands. The containers were filled with pineapples to hide the cocaine.
