Alexander ELBERG is accused of killing a 35-year-old man between 22.08.1991 and 23.08.1991 on an unpaved forest path in the area of the Hinterlinger Lakes near the old B14 between Sindelfingen and Stuttgart-Vaihingen. In 1988, ELBERG entered the Federal Republic of Germany. Since the beginning of 1991 he had been without a permanent residence and spent most of his time in the forests around Sindelfingen. According to witnesses, ELBERG traveled to Shirnovsk, Russia, in 1993. The last documented entry into Ukraine was in 2004. Since then, there has been no information about his current whereabouts.
