On 01.01.2012, around 11:16 p.m., together with an accomplice, the wanted Walid OMAIRAT shot a 35-year-old Syrian as he stopped his VW Golf at a traffic light in Sarstedt, Lower Saxony. The victim died at the scene. While the accomplice was arrested and convicted in the course of 2012, there is still no trace of OMAIRAT. He probably stayed in Lebanon in the meantime.
