On 29/09/2025, the person in subject, together with another suspect, went to a hotel in Limassol, where the subject pulled out a pistol and shot a 42-year-old man, a Ukrainian national, in the stomach with the intent to cause his death. During the same incident, he also assaulted a bystander. During the investigation, a testimony emerged that, the motive behind the criminal act, involved a case of extortion and demand of a large sum of money from the victim using threats against the victim’s life. Based on the above, an arrest warrant was issued. Additionally, testimony was obtained from the Russian authorities stating that the suspect holds a high-ranking position within a criminal organization involved in burglaries, thefts, robberies, extortions etc., from which they illegally earn large amounts of money. He is considered a high-risk individual and also holds the title of "Thief in Law."
