OMAR has been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, four counts of attempted murder, and arson.

In September 2023, a 60-year-old man was shot at his home in Åkersberga, Stockholm. He miraculously survived despite being targeted multiple times by a gang armed with an assault rifle and a pistol. Before fleeing the scene, the gang set the building on fire.

The following day, five other people were attacked in Jordbro, Stockholm. One of the victims was fatally shot after being struck in the head.

None of the victims had any links to the criminal underworld.

OMAR has been identified as one of the shooters in both of these extremely violent crimes.
