Brian Yvel was sentenced to 24 months in prison by the Amsterdam Court of Appeal on June 27, 2023, and must still serve the full sentence. Yvel was convicted for his involvement in the importation of a shipment of cocaine smuggled from Suriname via Schiphol Airport to the Netherlands in May 2017.
