The website optimises users experience by adapting the EUMWL to the country locations of the users. Based on their prior, informed and specific consent, the first 5 digits of the IP address of the users are used to determine from which country the user accesses the website. The other part of the IP address is masked in order to mitigate the risks of users’ identifiability that could arise from the possible link between the IP address and other natural identifiers, including the location of the user.
